At the tender age of 31, Penny Korff decided what she wanted to be when she grew up. Wasting no time, she promptly enrolled in the graphic design program at the Massachusetts College of Art. Three and a half short years, and one graphic design certificate later, she was on her way.
Prior to discovering her life's dream, Penny dabbled in many pursuits. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a business degree, she spent time as a US Army Signal Officer, where she got to sleep in tents for weeks at a time, jump out of planes, and shoot large, noisy weapons. All handy skills for an up-and-coming graphic designer. After the military, she did what most do. Move across the country and take a job in human services. Her years spent managing a small business employing adults with developmental disabilities were some of the most rewarding of her life, yet soon, it was time to move on. Next up for this rolling stone was a stint at a direct marketing agency, learning the ins and outs and all-arounds of print production. All tolled, she spent four years as a print production manager in both direct marketing and general advertising. And this brings us back to the beginning of the story, when Penny decided what she wanted to be when she grew up.
Since finishing the design program at MassArt, Penny has worked as a freelance designer, and decided she's staying on. She finally feels at home in her career; challenged, stimulated and always eager to do great work. Penny would love to meet with you to discuss your company's communications needs.
